Description:
Putty Pads are not the most convenient way to restore fire integrity to a drywall when installing electrical socket boxes. These inserts have been developed to provide all the fire protection of traditional putty pads with greater ease of fitting. The materials used also reduce noise transmission.
Prevents or delays fire from entering a wall cavity and attacking the building structure.
Pre-formed to fit all common socket box types.
Simple and fast mechanical fixing - no assembly required, no adhesives, no mess.
Unique flanged design holds the socket box insert in place during a fire
Can be retro fitted to existing sockets / switches or fitted during wall construction.
Can be removed and replaced for wiring changes.
Fire Test and Assessment Reports:
Tested to BS476 part 20 in an un-insulated plasterboard wall construction for 120 minutes without failure in either insulation or integrity.
Acoustically tested by BRE to both BS EN150 140-3: 1995 & BS 2750 Part 3 1995.
