Fire Rated Foams & Mastics

Standard construction filler foams and mastics provide little or no fire resistance.

The Astroflame products below should be used where certified fire stopping (mastic) or fire retarding (foam) properties are required by UK Building Control  'Approved Document B'.

Noise Reduction

The Intumescent Mastic and the  Fire Rated Acoustic Foam have also been independenly certified to provide up to 57dB and 58dB sound reduction respectively. These acoustic ratings exceed UK Building Control 'Approved Document E' requirements.
